These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and AnimeArena Technologies Private Limited ("AnimeArena", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of https://animearena.live, our associated APIs, mobile interfaces, and digital community features (collectively, the "Platform").
By creating an account, browsing the platform, purchasing digital Stars, allocating Stars in fan battles, or otherwise accessing any service feature, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Star Terms, and Refund Policy.
2. Eligibility & Strict 18+ Age Restriction
The Platform is exclusively offered and available to individuals who are at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction). By accessing or using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- You have the full power and legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
- You are not located in an embargoed or sanctioned country.
- Your previous account has not been suspended, banned, or terminated for terms violations.
In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA § 9), the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR Art. 8), AnimeArena strictly prohibits registration, engagement, or purchase by minors. Accounts verified or suspected to belong to minors will be terminated immediately.
3. Nature of the Service: Interactive Anime Fan Polling
AnimeArena is an independent entertainment platform offering competitive fan voting, community leaderboards, tournament brackets, and meta tier discussions for Japanese animation enthusiasts.
Independent Fan Platform Disclaimer: AnimeArena is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or partnered with any anime production committee, animation studio, publisher, licensor, or broadcaster (including but not limited to Toei Animation, MAPPA, Shueisha, Kodansha, Aniplex, Crunchyroll, or Netflix). All anime titles, character names, and related marks are trademarks of their respective copyright holders.
4. Digital Stars & Closed-Loop Entertainment Utility
Stars are digital entertainment tokens that confer a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to cast votes and express fandom affinity within the AnimeArena closed-loop platform ecosystem.
- No Cash Value: Stars do not constitute real currency, legal tender, e-money, Virtual Digital Assets (VDAs), or securities.
- No Cash-Out or Redemption: Stars cannot be sold, converted, exchanged, redeemed, or refunded for fiat currency, cryptocurrencies, or physical goods.
- Zero Secondary Market: Peer-to-peer transfers, off-platform sales, or account-to-account gifts are strictly prohibited and technically blocked.
- No Prizes or Wagering: Voting with Stars does not enter you into a sweepstakes, lottery, betting contest, or game of chance. No financial reward or prize is awarded based on leaderboard outcomes.

5. User Conduct & Anti-Manipulation Invariants
To maintain fairness, transparency, and integrity across the community rankings, you agree not to:
- Use automated scripts, bots, crawlers, or headless browsers to manipulate voting or exploit platform mechanics.
- Create or operate multiple accounts (Sybil accounts) to bypass anti-whale contribution velocity limits.
- Circumvent Cloudflare Turnstile, HMAC-CSRF, rate limiters, or geo-blocking controls.
- Engage in coordinated harassment, hate speech, or defamatory attacks against other fandoms or creators.
- Exploit platform vulnerabilities, glitches, or race conditions. Any discovered vulnerability must be reported responsibly via [email protected].
6. Account Security & Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify AnimeArena of any unauthorized use or security breach.
7. Termination & Suspension
We reserve the right, without prior notice or liability, to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account and invalidate any accrued or remaining Stars if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or compromised platform integrity.
8. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANIMEARENA TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be settled by binding arbitration in New Delhi, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
