1. Commitment to Copyright Protection & Fair Use

AnimeArena respects the intellectual property rights of creators, animation studios, manga publishers, and copyright owners. We comply with the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), the Indian Copyright Act (Section 52 Fair Dealing exceptions), and international copyright conventions.

AnimeArena operates as an independent interactive fan polling and ranking platform. Series titles, cover images, and synopses are ingested via the AniList public GraphQL API strictly for nominative identification, fandom commentary, and comparative ranking purposes.

3. Contents of a Valid DMCA Notice

To be legally effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your written takedown notification must substantially include the following:

• A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works at a single site are covered by one notification, a representative list).
• Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed, including specific URLs on https://animearena.live.
• Information reasonably sufficient to permit AnimeArena to contact you, such as address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

4. Counter-Notification Procedure

If material that you posted or configured has been removed or disabled as a result of a DMCA notice, and you believe this was due to mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written Counter-Notification to our Designated Agent containing:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location where it appeared.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, and telephone number, and consent to jurisdiction in appropriate federal district court.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the complaining party. If the original complainant does not notify us of a court action within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the removed material.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), AnimeArena maintains a policy that provides for the immediate termination in appropriate circumstances of user accounts whose owners are determined to be repeat copyright infringers.
