1. The Spirit of AnimeArena
AnimeArena is designed for passionate fans to debate anime rivalries, celebrate legendary series, back their favorites with Stars, and build community tier lists.
We encourage intense fandom rivalries—whether you are defending Attack on Titan, championing One Piece, or advocating for hidden gem indies. However, passion must never devolve into real-world harassment, personal abuse, or toxic conduct.
2. Zero-Tolerance Prohibitions
The following behaviors will result in immediate suspension or permanent platform ban:
- Hate Speech & Discrimination: Attacks, derogatory slurs, or harassment targeting race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or serious medical condition.
- Threats of Violence & Self-Harm: Explicit or implicit threats of physical harm, glorification of violence, or encouragement of self-harm.
- Doxxing & Privacy Invasions: Publishing or threatening to reveal private personal information (real names, physical addresses, phone numbers, private photos) of other users or anime industry creators.
- Explicit or Illegal Content: Non-consensual imagery, sexually explicit material, CSAM, or illegal content in user avatars, banners, or usernames.
- Impersonation: Pretending to be an anime creator, studio staff, platform administrator, moderator, or another user.
3. Fair Play & Competitive Integrity
To preserve genuine fandom competition, users must respect the rules of the arena:
- No Automation or Bot Voting: Using scripts, auto-clickers, headless browsers, or botnets to artificially manipulate vote tallies is strictly prohibited.
- No Sybil Account Networks: Operating multiple accounts to bypass the 5,000 Stars daily per-series contribution cap will lead to nullification of all votes and permanent banning of all involved accounts.
- No Coordinated DDoS Attacks: Organised attempts to overload, spam, or disrupt server infrastructure during critical battle countdowns will be blocked and reported.
4. Moderation & Enforcement Ladder
Our moderation team enforces community standards through progressive disciplinary measures:
- Formal Warning: Issued for minor infractions with guidance on community expectations.
- Temporary Suspension (24h to 7 days): Restrictions on voting, commenting, and wallet actions for repeated or moderate violations.
- Permanent Ban: Irrevocable account closure and exclusion for severe violations, hate speech, repeated Sybil botting, or fraud.
